Montana

As the school year begins, I look back on all I did this summer. I had some very enjoyable experiences, but my favorite was fly fishing in Montana. This was my second year in a row that I went out to Montana to fish. As soon as the plane hits the ground in Bozeman, it is like you are in a completely different place. I've grown up and lived in Louisiana for my entire life, so I'm not exactly used to the mountains. I have been in mountains a few other times, but no mountains can even compete with the mountains in Montana.

Like I said, we fished a ton. We would wake up around 6-7:30, and then go fish at about 9, once the sun hit the stream. We would then fish for about 3-4 hours and then take a break to eat lunch. After the lunch break, we would go out again and fish for about 3-4 more hours. We would then cook dinner on the fire or the Coleman stove. We did not have electricity at the cabin nor running water. It is a very simple place, but it lets you really get in touch with nature out there.
